Yes; this year we have sent trimmings all over the world....Alaska...Wagga Wagga...Paris!
If a posty can get there in time and you have a letterbox you can enter!

but I can't sew?
we never said you had to sew anything x

How do I take a nice photograph of my trimmings and my creation?
Our top tips for taking nice, clear photographs are

1. don't use a flash indoors...ever.... it drains colour like a sponge
2. get enough light, natural light is best
3. take the wrapping off your trimmings pack :-)
4. get in real close
5. use a plain background
6. lock in your focus

How many times can I enter?
As many times as you would like but one packet of Trimmings per entry please.

Can I combine your trimmings with other fabrics in my project?
Of course! but please acknowledge the designer of the other fabrics too.

Can I make something with someone else's sewing pattern/idea?
We love to see your ideas especially but if you do want to use someone else's pattern/idea you must credit them and link to them.

I've entered before can I enter again?
yes welcome back

Where, when and how do I vote?
on May 31 WE WILL PIN your pics TO OUR 2012 COMPETITION BOARD ON PINTEREST :
If you are not sure what this means, please click here for more information.

Between the 1st and the 7th of June (EST) come visit our Pinterest competition board to see what amazing things have been made by our entrants.  If you would like to vote by 'pinning' your favourite entrants from this board you will need to join Pinterest it is free.  Pin one or pin a few favourites it's your choice :-) do take the time to look at everyone's entry and leave your positive comments too!

What have entrants done before?
You can view our past winners (the amazing Nova and Lisa Stubbs) and entrants work here and here

I'm stuck?
You are only limited by your imagination.
Stick it, hang it, wrap it, sew it, stitch it, combine it, daub it, deconstruct it, mix it, cut it, film it, add it, bend it, stiffen it, embellish it, patch it, and on and on....

What if I do the same as someone else?
No two packets are the same, no two people are the same, no two projects will be the same.

What's the most important thing to remember?
Please read our instructions carefully and remember to email us the link to the photos of your work.
Have fun!
